SOCIAL SECTOR M&E

Microware has engaged with multiple Agri programs, both as part of their livelihood initiatives, and otherwise. The more prominent programs, other than larger livelihood systems, include Reliance BIJ (Bharat India Jodo) across 26 clusters in India, The Axis Bank Foundation efforts across India, ASI Walmart’s interventions in UP and AP, Reviving the Green Revolution of the Tata Trusts in Punjab and Tamil Nadu, and various SRI, market linkage and crop monitoring software for various programmes, including the Mahila Kisan Sashaktiran Pariyojana in Jharkhand .

The software currently in use include generic definitions for crop monitoring, and provide for analysis of yield and price realisation, including monitoring of Producer Groups and co-operatives. Some systems follow the entire crop cycle, and also keep track the payments due to community resources for agriculture and animal husbandry. Systems have been built for animal husbandry, micro enterprises and market linkages.
